Position Overview: Weâre looking for a confident, customer-focused Front Desk Administrator to join our team at our River North location in a fast-paced, high-end dental environment. As the first point of contact for patients, youâll play a vital role in shaping the overall experienceâfrom warm greetings to seamless scheduling. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and thrives in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. Key Responsibilities: Welcome and assist patients in a friendly, professional manner, creating a positive first impression. Manage patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and daily front desk operations. Support communication with patients through phone, email, and online platforms. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth daily workflows. Help patients navigate insurance questions and payment processes (in-network and out-of-network). Utilize Dentrix Ascend and other dental management software for booking and records. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front office environment. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of front desk or administrative experience in a dental or medical office. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset. Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend and online patient platforms preferred. Experience in a multi-specialty practice is a plus (general, cosmetic, ortho, endo, perio, oral surgery). Able to multitask, stay organized, and handle a high-volume schedule with grace.
