Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. You will utilize your expertise in general dentistry and specialized procedures to provide high-quality treatments in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Position can be 4 or 5 days/week. Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations and medical history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver a wide range of dental services such as examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canal therapy, extractions, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Conduct dental imaging and interpret radiographs accurately to diagnose oral conditions effectively. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term oral health. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care delivery using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency. Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental office standards. Assist with dental fabrication procedures when necessary and support the team during complex procedures such as oral surgery or endodontics. Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities related to pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other specialties as needed. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance. Demonstrated expertise in general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Ability to perform oral surgery procedures with precision and aseptic technique. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate effectively. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and interpretation for diagnostic purposes. Proficiency in dental fabrication processes is a plus.
