Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, excellent clinical skills, and a thorough understanding of dental procedures and infection control protocols. As a key member of our practice, you will provide comprehensive oral health services, educate patients on the systemic benefit to good oral health and support the over all smooth operation of the dental practice. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high standards of quality, safety and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to promote optimal oral health. Conduct initial patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and recording vital signs such as blood pressure and pulse. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records in electronic medical record systems (EMR) such as Eaglesoft. Ensure infection control standards are upheld through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures. Maintain accurate and complete patient chart documentation. Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans for our patients. Stay current with advances in hygiene techniques and terminology Skills Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for documentation and scheduling. Knowledge of vital signs measurement, dental imaging, and infection control protocols aligned with industry standards. Experience working within a dental office environment with a solid foundation in general dentistry practices. Ability to review documentation critically, ensuring accuracy in medical records and treatment notes. Excellent patient care skills with compassionate communication. Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral health assessment and treatment planning. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $1.00 - $50.00 per hour Work Location: In person
