Dental Assistant for the main dental provider at the practice. The candidate must be organized and stay on pace with the provider. The dentist does not utilize EDDA skills but this position would be responsible for four handed dentistry, taking all digital x-rays, inter oral camera, knowing instruments and having them ready and passing to provider. Setup and breakdown operatories based on the cleaning protocol. Does all lab work such as suck downs, pour models, bag and send cases to dental labs, etc. Keep track of incoming cases and make sure marked on schedule. Important to keep lab clean and organized for easy retrieval of items. (ie, Implant drives) Responsible for laundry for the practice and ordering dental supplies along with main provider. Maintain equipment in operatories and lab such as cleaning and doing maintenance on the equipment. Keeping main provider up on equipment that may need further assistance then just in office maintenance. To retrieve patients for their appointments and have a friendly outgoing personality. Walking patients up to front desk and communicate to the front desk on what they did and need to come back for future dental work.
