Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Avon, CT
Our small, privately owned, quality dental practice is looking for a personable (PT/FT) front desk coordinator with dental experience to replace retiring front desk team member. We are a well established family practice with great community ties here in Avon. We are looking for a experienced, knowledgeable, flexible, dependable team player with the ability to work independently and can keep the front office organized and flowing smoothly. Friendliness and great communication skills are a must! The right person needs to be knowledgeable and experienced with dental software and dental treatments. Responsibilities include but are not limited too: -Greeting and welcoming patients warmly with a positive and friendly disposition -review and update patients information - verification of insurance eligibility and answer patient questions regarding insurance benefits prior or post treatments. -answer phone lines in a friendly and timely manner -confirm patient appointments, and maintain a productive schedule -account posting, billing, insurance claims and daily settlements -filling and pulling charts Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 â 32 per week Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Experience: dental office: 1 year (Required) Location: Avon, CT 06001 (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Avon, CT 06001 (Required) Work Location: In person
