The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations while ensuring patient comfort. Assess patients' oral health by reviewing medical histories and performing vital signs checks. Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care in both general and pediatric dentistry settings. Skills Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and techniques. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical coding, and documentation review processes. Strong understanding of anatomy related to dental health and infection control measures. Experience in general dentistry practices with a focus on patient assessment and care. Ability to work effectively within an EMR system for maintaining patient records. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and provide education on oral health. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
