Dental Assistant - Weatherford Dental Care - Weatherford, OK

We are a growing business in search of our next team member. Experience is preferred but we will train the right person. Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Prepare and maintain dental materials and supplies - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history - Update and maintain patient medical records and documentation - Provide support to dentists in managing pediatric patients - Utilize computer software systems such as CAD, Epic, and medical coding for accurate record keeping Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Proficient in using dental equipment and instruments - Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and infection control protocols - Familiarity with medical coding systems for accurate billing and insurance claims We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
