Summary We are seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team in delivering exceptional dental care in a supportive environment. Understands leadership, and values team alignment Responsibilities Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Perform X-rays and maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Provide chairside support and assist with various dental treatments. Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient care processes. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Ideal Candidate Qualities Minimum of 2+ years of verifiable clinical dental assisting experience Valid EFDA certification and relevant state licensure. Proficiency in Dentrix Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques.
