Dental Assistant (Passaic County bordering Bergen County) - Ringwood Dental Studio (formerly Long Pond Dental Works) - Ringwood, NJ

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dental Assistant to join our team. This position is open to candidates of all experience levels. We are happy to train the right individual who is eager to learn and committed to providing excellent patient care. You will assist the dentist during a variety of procedures and play an important role in creating a positive experience for our patients. Hourly rate may vary depending on level of experience. Responsibilities Prepare patients for dental procedures Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs Provide patients with postoperative and general oral healthcare instructions Take dental x-rays (certification preferred or willingness to obtain) Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Manage and organize dental supply inventory Skills & Qualifications No prior dental assisting experience required — training provided Willingness to learn dental procedures, infection control, and aseptic techniques Knowledge of HIPAA regulations or willingness to learn X-ray certification preferred (or ability to obtain) Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus, but not required Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude Joining our team as a Dental Assistant offers the opportunity to grow in a supportive, hands-on environment where patient care comes first.
