Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available. Take and record vital signs of patients to ensure their health and safety. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling using Dentrix software to optimize the clinic's operations. Support pediatric dentistry efforts by creating a welcoming environment for young patients. Demonstrate knowledge of dental anatomy to assist in various procedures, including Endodontics. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the dental clinic. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is essential. Knowledge of dental systems, including Dentrix software, is highly desirable. Strong understanding of anatomy related to dental care. Ability to manage medical records accurately and efficiently. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members. A commitment to providing compassionate care, especially in pediatric dentistry settings.
