We're seeking a dependable, positive Dental Assistant to help provide exceptional patient care and surgical support. Schedule: 3 Days per Week, MUST be available MONDAYs and TUESDAYS Work Style: Close-knit team, self-starter mentality desired. Required Qualifications Applicants MUST meet the following non-negotiable requirements: Experience: 1+ year of prior dental assisting experience (Required). Licensing: None but X-Ray Certification a plus. Logistics: Ability to reliably commute to the Peru, IL location. Attitude: Friendly, reliable , and detail-oriented self-starter. Core Responsibilities (Surgical & Clinical Support) You will be crucial to supporting the daily operations and assisting during specialized procedures: Clinical Assistance: Assist during surgical and non-surgical procedures (periodontal and implant focus). Radiography: Take digital x-rays and maintain patient records. Infection Control: Prepare rooms, sterilize instruments , and maintain strict compliance with infection control protocols (CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA). Operations: Prepare rooms, maintain dental supply inventory, and support overall daily practice operations.
