What youâll do Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to determine patient needs. Execute a variety of dental procedures, including preventive care, restorative treatments, and oral surgery. Utilize advanced technology and software such as Dentrix Acend for efficient patient management and documentation. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry for optimal workflow during procedures. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental practices, including endodontics and prosthodontics. Basic qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid dental license to practice in New York. Preferred qualifications Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is advantageous.
