What You'll Do: As our next Dental Hygienist, you will be the chief preventive provider, delivering excellent treatment and patient education. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough oral health assessments, including medical history reviews and oral cancer screenings. Performing detailed dental cleanings, including removing plaque, calculus, and stains, as well as scaling and root planing for periodontal care. Taking high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photos. Applying preventive agents such as fluoride and sealants. Educating and motivating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and dietary habits to maintain oral health. Accurately documenting patient care, existing conditions, and treatment plans in patient records. Maintaining strict sterilization and infection control protocols in all clinical areas. Collaborating effectively with the dentist and other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional patient experience. What We're Looking For: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and compassionate professional who is passionate about preventive dental care and enjoys building rapport with patients. Requirements: Valid and active Ohio Dental Hygienist License (RDH). Ohio Radiology License Current CPR/BLS certification. Proficiency in using dental hygiene instruments and digital technology. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset. Preferred Qualifications: Prior hands-on experience as a dental hygienist (new grads with strong clinical skills are also encouraged to apply). Certification to administer local anesthesia.
