Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienists to provide quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, taking X-rays, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment. Duties: - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Take and develop dental X-rays - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment - Prepare materials for impressions and restorations - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records - Perform administrative tasks such as billing and insurance claims processing Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program - Current certification in dental assisting (CDA) preferred - Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and oral health procedures - Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic - Experience with taking digital X-rays and using CAD/CAM technology is a plus - Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols - Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment - Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable We offer competitive pay based on experience, as well as the following benefits: - Health insurance coverage - Paid time off and holidays - Retirement savings plan options If you are a dedicated Dental Assistant looking to join a dynamic team, please apply with your resume.
