Chad E. Johnson D.D.S. is seeking a full time Dental Assistant. Job Overview The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help to ensure efficient dental operations. Duties - Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures - Prepare patients for dental work - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Take X-rays - Maintain accurate patient records Qualifications - Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods - Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus - Ability to perform 4-handed dentistry techniques efficiently - Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including 3D scanning - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Certification in dental radiography is required - Certification in Nitrous Oxide Monitoring preferred - Pay based on Experience Join our dynamic team at a state-of-the-art dental clinic where you can expand your skills and contribute to providing exceptional patient care.
