Comfortable work atmosphere looking to add a positive, dependable dental assistant to our Downtown Location. The ideal candidate will be well-organized with great attention to detail. The ability to contribute to an excellent patient experience is essential. Current office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8am-5pm. Full-Time or Part-Time hours available. Parking is provided. Skills Proven experience as a dental assistant is desired Comfortable taking digital radiographs Proficient at fabricating temporary crowns Familiar with Dentrix Software Experience with iTero or other scanner is a plus Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma or equivalent required; graduating from dental assistant program is preferred Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA) Responsibilities Welcome patients in the dental office Prepare patients for treatments or exams ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Chairside assisting Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental rooms clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures All employees are minimally cross-trained to assist in all areas of the office when needed.
