Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. Assess patient oral health by reviewing medical records, taking vital signs, and conducting dental imaging. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, including treatment plans and progress notes in EMR systems. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. We use Dentrix Software Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and practices is a plus Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control measures. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is desirable but not mandated Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and efficiently.
