Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Smithtown, NY
We are an established general dental practice providing quality comprehensive treatment. We provide all facets of dentistry, including implants, root canals, crown/bridge, orthodontics, dentures and sedation. Our growing practice needs a dental hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a calm, reassuring and friendly demeanor with the ability to multitask and have a team-player mentality. Professionalism and punctuality are essential for this role. Skills needed: Taking digital radiographs Reviewing medical history Proficiency in digital scanning Proficiency in laser bacterial reduction Completing hygiene exams, including periodontal probing depths Anesthesia certification Soft Tissue Management Providing oral hygiene instruction Maintaining and sterilizing instruments Cleaning and setting up operatory Working hours: P/T position- Monday, Tues, Thursday Monday 10-7 (Starting in Aug-end time will be 5pm), Tuesday 10-7 (Starting July 14-end time will be 5pm), Thursday (12-5) Job Type: Part-time Pay: $48.00 - $55.00 per hour License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist License (Required) Work Location: In person
