Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Review and document patient medical histories, ensuring accuracy in medical records. Assist dentists during procedures by providing necessary tools and support. Utilize dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for patient documentation and record-keeping. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the dental clinic. Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Experience Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in general dentistry practices. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential. Experience with documentation review and maintaining accurate medical records is highly valued. Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is a plus.
