Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting and be proficient in various dental procedures. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic, providing excellent patient care, and supporting the dentist in delivering high-quality dental services. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and clean environment. Take digital X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Utilize 3D scanning technology to assist in creating accurate dental impressions. Manage patient records and assist with scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist when required. Provide support in various specialties including pediatrics, endodontics, and general dentistry. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure that the clinic is well-stocked. Experience Candidates should have prior experience in a dental clinic setting with a focus on the following skills: Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques. Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred. Familiarity with X-ray procedures and safety measures. Knowledge of 3D scanning technology for dental applications. Previous roles as a dental receptionist or in administrative tasks within a dental office are advantageous. A solid understanding of general dentistry practices, endodontics, oral surgery and other relevant systems.
