Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at our dental clinic. The Dental Assistant will ensure that the clinic operates smoothly and efficiently, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including endodontics and general dentistry treatments. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for use during patient appointments. Manage medical records accurately, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards. Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinic's appointment systems effectively. Document patient information accurately in Eaglesoft dental software. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is a plus. Familiarity with infection control protocols and procedures is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Knowledge of dental software specifically Eaglesoft is a plus. Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is a plus. Wage in DOE.
