Job Summary As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, you will be responsible for both clinical and administrative duties that enhance the patient experience. Your role will involve assisting the dental team with procedures, managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Your expertise in medical terminology and office management will be crucial in maintaining an efficient workflow. What youâll do Assist dentists during examinations and procedures while ensuring patient comfort Manage front desk operations including greeting patients, answering phones, and scheduling appointments Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) Eaglesoft Verify insurance information and handle medical billing processes Conduct intake assessments and review documentation to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly Collaborate with the dental team to create care plans tailored to individual patient needs Perform clerical tasks including filing, typing, and maintaining organized medical records Basic qualifications Proficiency in dental terminology Strong computer skills Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Preferred qualifications Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting Bilingual abilities to enhance communication with diverse patient populations Why youâll love it here We are dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where our team can thrive both professionally and personally.
