Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality preventive care, support patients' in achieving optimal oral health, and collaborate closely with dentists to deliver a positive, comfortable clinical experience. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning teeth, scaling, and polishing. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vitals, and current dental conditions. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records using Dentrix while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Follow infection control protocols through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient care. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations. Strong knowledge and adherence to infection control standards and aseptic techniques. Ability to utilize medical imaging equipment effectively.
