Permanent Dentist Job in Doccs
Minimum Qualifications: Possession of a license and current registration to practice dentistry in New York State. Job Duties As a Dentist 1, you would do extractions, restorations, prosthetics, root canal therapy, prophylaxis, and limited periodontics; administer local anesthesia; examine and chart the dental condition of patients; take and interpret dental x rays; perform oral surgery; and treat oral diseases and infections. Where appropriate the Dentist may provide oral hygiene instruction. You would have responsibility, usually under the advisory direction of a higher ranking dentist, for the regular examination, treatment, and complete dental care of patients in a State facility. You may be the only dentist in a small facility.
