Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including pediatric dentistry - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take and record vital signs of patients - Collect and update medical histories and document patient assessments - Assist with medical coding and billing processes - Perform dental imaging, including X-rays and CAD/CAM technology - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Experience: - Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or relevant role - Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures - Familiarity with medical coding and documentation practices - Proficiency in taking X-rays and using CAD/CAM technology - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Alternative hour work schedule: Monday - occasional Tuesday- 6:45am - 5:00pm Wednesday - 6:45am - 5:00pm Thursday - 7:15am - 5:30pm Friday - 6:45am - 12:30pm We offer competitive compensation based on experience, as well as benefits, such as 401()k, Cafeteria plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
