Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or DA - Arena Family Dental Care - Sacramento, CA

We are looking for an enthusiastic competent dental assistant to join our family dental practice. Responsibilities Welcome patients into our dental office. Prepare patients for their treatment and ensure their comfort. Take necessary x-rays. Set up instruments, trays and materials as needed. Sterilize instruments according to current regulations. Assist our dentist using 4-handed dentistry. Coronal Polish Undertake lab tasks as instructed. Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Keep the dental operatory clean and well-stocked. Schedule appointments when needed. Maintain accurate patient records. Skills RDA certification must be current. CPR+Basic Life Support Dentrix+Dexis knowledge with great computer skills is a plus. Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods. Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing & making temporaries is a plus. Excellent communication and people skills.
