What youâll do Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments while utilizing your knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and interpret imaging, including X-rays, to support accurate diagnoses. Monitor vital signs and document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (Dentrix) systems. Maintain infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized patient care plans. Review documentation and medical records to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Efficient time management and be a team player! Basic qualifications Valid dental hygiene license, CPR Strong understanding of general dentistry practices Preferred qualifications Experience with Dentrix software Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting Proficiency in vital signs monitoring and dental terminology Proficiency with taking dental X-rays.
