Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures by creating a friendly environment that eases young patients’ fears. Expanded Functions (EFDA) Certificate preferred. Sealants certification preferred X-Ray certification required. Operate electronic medical record (EMR) systems accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and medical records. Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures. Educate parent and patients on post-treatment care, and oral hygiene practices to promote ongoing health. Support the front desk team by handling administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing medical documentation efficiently.
