About Us Mountain Perio is a growing 3-location periodontal practice serving the communities of Hendersonville, Asheville, and Brevard. Our mission is to provide exceptional periodontal care in a welcoming, patient-centered environment. Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our Mountain Perio team. This position is PART-TIME at our 100 Executive Park, ASHEVILLE location. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a gentle approach, and the ability to confidently connect with patients in a professional and kind manner. You’ll enjoy one-hour maintenance appointments and an option for expanded time for scaling and root planing (SRPs), allowing you to deliver high-quality care. Key Responsibilities Provide hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal charting, and patient education Perform oral cancer screenings and necessary radiographs Collaborate with doctors and team members across all practice locations Educate patients on oral health, prevention strategies, and home care techniques Document patient records accurately and maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards Stay current on continuing education and periodontal best practices Qualifications Active North Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist license (required) Active CPR certification Excellent clinical and communication skills Compassionate and patient-focused demeanor Flexibility to work across multiple locations as needed Schedule: Part-time (flexible hours 1-2 days a week, days dependent and negotiable, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM) Why Join Mountain Perio?
