Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join the best team ever! The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental services while adhering to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Duties Assist the endodontist during endodontic procedures and surgeries Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained Take digital x-rays, including 3D scans when applicable, ensuring proper safety measures are followed Record vital signs and medical history, updating patient records accurately within TDO software Manage dental imaging and medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards Provide chairside assistance using two handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort Maintain infection control standards through proper sterilization of instruments and adherence to OSHA guidelines Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, collecting payments and verify dental insurance benefits Skills Proficiency with TDO software but willing to train Experience with dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Familiarity with infection control procedures and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently in endodontics Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and coding for dental procedures Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and maintain a professional demeanor in a busy clinic setting This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills directly contribute to patient health and satisfaction.
