Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience and play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidate must enjoy working with an amazing team that continually supports each other! We are looking for Monday and Thursday's to begin immediately with the potential to go full time in the new year. Responsibilities Assist dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Take X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation for patient records. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Operate 3D scanners for imaging as needed. Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient experiences. Skills Proficient in dental terminology and assisting techniques. Experience, ideally 2 years in general dentistry practices. Familiarity with four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures. Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment. Ability to perform medical documentation accurately and efficiently. Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy clinical setting.
