We are a family dental office looking for an experienced dental assistant. The position entails a wide range of intraoral dental procedures and provides chair-side assistance. Assists with, performs and educates patients regarding restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic and oral surgery procedures. Responsibilities: Prepare patients, sterilize or disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials, or assist the dentist during dental procedures. Expose dental diagnostic x-rays. Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by the dentist. Assist dentist in management of medical or dental emergencies. Qualities/Certification DANB Infection Control Certificate and DANB Radiation Health and Safety Certificate Great communicator with a vibrant personality Strong work ethic Team player Experience: Customer service: 3 year (Preferred) Eaglesoft and Dexis: 2 year (Preferred) Schedule: Two weekdays and one Saturday a month.
