Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Implant Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will support the delivery of exceptional implant dentistry services by providing chairside assistance, ensuring infection control, and maintaining seamless patient care. Your expertise will help create a comfortable environment for patients undergoing complex procedures such as dental implants, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Duties Assist the dentist during dental implant procedures, including preparation and management of surgical tools and materials Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and sterilized equipment following aseptic techniques Take and develop high-quality X-ray images and medical imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning Manage patient records using EMR systems such as Open Dental, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic, ensuring accurate documentation of procedures and medical history Support patients by taking vital signs, reviewing medical histories, and explaining procedures clearly to ensure comfort and understanding Maintain infection control standards by adhering to HIPAA regulations and proper sterilization protocols Assist with general dentistry procedures including prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry as needed Operate 3D scanners and other advanced dental technology to enhance treatment precision Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow through four-handed dentistry techniques Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments with the dental receptionist and managing medical documentation Ensure compliance with all safety protocols related to anatomy knowledge, infection control, and aseptic technique Experience Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic setting, preferably with exposure to implant dentistry or oral surgery procedures Familiarity with EMR systems such as Open Dental, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dental procedures Experience with X-ray techniques and operating digital imaging equipment including 3D scanners Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently during complex procedures like implants, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Knowledge of infection control practices aligned with HIPAA standards and aseptic techniques Skilled in medical coding for billing purposes when applicable in dental settings Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages including pediatrics Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is required; additional certifications in radiography or implant assisting are a plus Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering top-tier dental care!
