Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practices. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities Travel as needed, we are in a different office every day providing quality specialty services ie oral surgery, Perio, Endo. Must have reliable transportation, be flexible and able to multi task. Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Manage medical documentation accurately, including patient histories and treatment plans. Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records. Provide support in various areas of dentistry, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and four-handed dentistry. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure the clinic is well-stocked. Perform radiographic imaging as needed while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred; however, we welcome motivated candidates willing to learn. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is essential. Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic is a plus. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols is required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
