We are seeking two bright, hardworking future dental professionals who are looking to gain on the job experience and be qualified for full-fledged dental assistant positions in as little as 8 weeks. No experience is required for this position. Radiation safety training, and BLS training will be provided in the second half of the program at no cost . Following your 8 week training period, you should be able to: Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through effective chairside assisting. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Take and develop X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately in medical documentation. Manage patient records, including medical records and medical coding, while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. Utilize 3D scanners for imaging as needed in various dental procedures. Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently. Utilize EMR systems such as Eaglesoft Utilize dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices. Requirements Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with patients and team members. We are looking to hire recent high school graduates for this training program (0-2 years out of HS.) Applicants must have a high school diploma.
