Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Peabody, MA

Overview Fun group practice in Peabody & Lynn seeking a full time dental assistant. D.A.N.B certified or Dental Certificate that says "Formally Trained" preferred M-F , No Saturdays Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control protocols are strictly followed. Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced equipment like 3D scanners and other medical imaging tools while maintaining proper radiation safety standards. Manage patient records efficiently using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow and patient comfort. Educate patients on dental procedures, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment care to promote ongoing oral health. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to infection control standards and OSHA regulations. Collaborate seamlessly with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations and excellent patient experiences. Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and various dental specialties including pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and general dentistry. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security. Knowledge of infection control practices including aseptic technique to maintain a safe clinical environment. Excellent understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and pediatrics for accurate documentation..
