Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Brookline, MA
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice! The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing chairside assistance, managing patient care, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. We are looking for a motivated, friendly, high energy, resourceful individual with a strong emphasis in customer service. Our office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available Take and develop dental X-rays and other medical imaging as required Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort Manage patient flow by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and updating medical documentation. Willingness to help in other areas. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic is preferred but not necessary. Familiarity with dental assisting procedures including chairside assisting, taking vital signs, and operating X-ray equipment Understanding of infection control standards and aseptic techniques within a healthcare environment Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and patient care excellence.
