Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing to maintain optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments and medical history review. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to prevent cross-contamination. Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care. Review medical records and documentation for completeness and accuracy in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support the dental team with administrative tasks related to patient care and office operations. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic environment, with familiarity in general dentistry. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical coding standards for documentation review. Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
