Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control, and patient assessment to ensure optimal oral health outcomes for our patients. Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures effectively. Take and review medical imaging as needed, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations. Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate medical records for all patients. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support during treatments. Stay updated on dental terminology, medical coding, and EMR systems to enhance patient documentation accuracy. Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
