Job Overview Bilingual Dental Assistant & Receptionist â Combined Job Description A bilingual dental assistant and receptionist provides both clinical and administrative support to ensure a smooth, efficient, and patient-centered dental practice. This role requires excellent communication skills in English and Spanish , along with the ability to assist chairside and manage front-desk responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Greet patients, check them in, and assist with completing forms in both languages Translate information and communicate clearly with patients regarding procedures, treatment plans, and office policies Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and confirm upcoming visits Verify insurance coverage, process billing, and collect payments Maintain accurate and organized patient records and charts Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and treatment rooms Take and develop dental X-rays (if certified) Record medical histories, update charts, and document treatment notes Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients in their preferred language Restock supplies and maintain inventory for the clinical area Ensure excellent patient care and help create a welcoming environment Skills & Qualifications: Bilingual in English and Spanish Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer-service skills Ability to multitask between front-office and clinical duties Knowledge of dental terminology and office procedures Dental assisting certification and X-ray certification (if required by state) Proficiency with dental software and scheduling systems Join us in delivering outstanding care while advancing your career in a supportive environment that values your energy and dedication!
