**Overview:** *Recare appts are typically 1 hour and new patient appts are typically 1.5 hours. We are excited to announce that we are expanding our team! We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to our patients and assist in promoting good oral health practices. We are focused on personalized patient care and prioritize patient comfort. We pride ourselves in making patients feel welcome and accepted. **Duties:** - Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques - Utilizing an intraoral scanner for education (done on every new patient and periodically on recare appts when xrays are not due) - Perform oral cancer screenings - Take and develop dental x-rays - Maintain accurate patient records - Administer local anesthetics - Sterilize dental instruments following infection control guidelines **Qualifications:** - Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program - State licensure as a Dental Hygienist - Proficiency in infection control protocols - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations - Experience with dental software such as Dentrix - Familiarity with iTero and intraoral scanning - Understanding of medical imaging techniques - Knowledge of medical terminology and coding Join our team and enjoy competitive pay, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work environment.
