Dental Assistant - Cosmetic Restorative Dentistry - Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Requirements: - Proven experience in the Dental or a related field - Strong organizational and multitasking skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in collaboration skills in the patient rooms with the dentist - Familiarity with Dental office management is a plus - Ability to take x-rays and assist with machines is preferred Responsibilities: -prepare and organize tools and instruments needed by dentists to work on patient - sterilize instruments daily - be able to schedule appointments for patient recalls -assist dentist with procedures, hand instruments to dentist, dry patient's mouth using suction hoses and other equipment -instruct patients in proper oral hygiene -process x-rays and complete lab tasks, under the direction of a dentist -work with patients on billing and payment, explain treatment plans Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
