We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will support dental professionals in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. Our hours are Tuesdays 9 am - 8 pm and Fridays 9 am - 3 pm Assist dentist during various procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Operate dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners while adhering to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort. Maintain aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a sterile environment. Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions using appropriate dental terminology. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical coding is highly desirable. Certification or training in X-ray procedures. Demonstrated ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care.
