Pediatric Dental Assistant - Kids 360 Pediatric Dentistry - Richmond, TX

We're looking for a registered dental assistant to join our Pediatric Dental office in the Harvest Green/Aliana area of Richmond, TX. Must be a team player with a genuine love for working with children. An ideal team member would be a hard worker, fast paced, have a positive attitude, have a friendly & outgoing personality, and be respectful towards others. Experience in pediatric dentistry (including taking diagnostic xrays for children, providing coronal polishing, and assisting with treatment) is preferred. Position will start as soon as possible. Position is for 4 days a week (Approx 32 hours) Monday 8:30 am-5pm Tuesday 8:30 am-6 pm Wednesday 8:30-5 pm Thursday 8:30 am-5 pm *There will be Friday IV Sedation Days 3-4 times a year* Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Greeting and seating the patient Making patients feel at ease Reviewing Medical History Taking radiographs Walking out procedures in Open Dental Electronic charting and writing notes Setting up and cleaning rooms Assisting with dental equipment maintenance Sterilization Chairside assisting (including nitrous, oral sedation, and IV Sedation cases) Taking impressions, pouring models, and sending out lab work Coronal Polishing and Sealant Application Post-operative calls to the patients Travel and assisting for hospital OR cases Attending marketing events to promote the practice (at least one after hours event per calendar year) Some front desk duties would be expected when we aren't busy. Required Certifications: -RDA (must have this state registration) -Willingness to get sealant and nitrous certified (employer will cover the cost of courses) -CPR Certified Serious Inquiries only!
