*X-Ray License Required* Currently looking to fill Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday shifts Job Overview We are looking for a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced and patient-focused dental practice. The ideal candidate will be proficient in chairside assisting, patient care, and knowledgeable in using dental software. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient clinic operations and delivering outstanding service to our patients. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes when necessary (iTero Lumina intraoral scanner). Knowledgeable and experienced in making temporary crowns . Able to pour and trim dental models . Excellent chairside manner and communication skills. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following infection control protocols. Take dental radiographs while adhering to safety standards. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Utilize dental software such as Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend for patient management and documentation. Assist in prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry tasks as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting . Proficient knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with dental documentation practices and dental coding is advantageous. Strong understanding of infection control protocols within a dental clinic environment. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while providing excellent patient care. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients of all ages. Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications will be considered an asset.
