Duties Ensure patients feel empowered and welcome from the moment their exam begins. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments. Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, orthodontics, and veneers. Take dental X-rays while maintaining accuracy and patient safety. Intraoral scans on all patient visits. Record detailed medical documentation, dental notes, and procedure codes in practice management software. Monitor vital signs of patients when necessary and assist with chairside assisting to ensure patient comfort throughout treatments. Manage patient flow by acting as a dental receptionistâscheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and providing excellent customer service. Maintain strict infection control standards by adhering to HIPAA regulations and proper sterilization procedures to safeguard patient health. Skills Must be able to make temporary crowns Possess a professional and positive attitude Must have strong interpersonal and listening skills. Strong interpersonal, listening, and teamwork skills are expected. Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry and pediatrics. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards. Bilingual is highly advantageous. Minimum Experience: We require at least 1 year as an RDA.
