General dentistry practice that is seeking to hire a competent RDA for our clinical team. About our Ideal candidate: - preferably completion of a dental assistant program - At least two years of experience working as a dental assistant - very detail - oriented - maintain a professional manner and attitude while at work - highly motivated and demonstrates a sincere enthusiasm for your work - Dependable, reliable and punctual - Familiar with digital xrays and electronic dental records and intra-oral scanning - very adept on the phone and can develop rapport with patients and deliver an overall friendly and professional experience - has a strong desire to continually learn, develop and maintain excellent patient experience skills Key Responsibilities: Take X-rays proficiently Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment Set up trays for various procedures Coronal polishing Assist on fillings and restorative procedures Assist on extractions Advanced crown assistance (temporaries, cord packing, digital scanning) Patient preparation and comfort measures Appointment scheduling and patient communication Maintaining infection control protocols Required Skills: Clinical Skills: Proficient X-ray technique and positioning Expert sterilization and infection control Advanced tray setup for all procedures Coronal polishing certification and technique Restorative assistance (fillings, crowns) Surgical assistance (extractions) Basic dental anatomy knowledge Proficient in dental scanning using Itero scanner Experience with Clear aligner therapy, preferably Invisalign Certifications & Knowledge: Basic knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Understanding of OSHA and infection control standards CPR certification Radiography certification Coronal polishing certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week Benefits: Employee discount Experience: Dental assisting: 2 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Live Oak, TX 78233 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
