Job Title: Dental Hygienist Location: 6374 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60659 Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Lead Dentist Salary: $75,000-90,000 (DOE) Job Summary: Midwest Refuah Health Center, a nonprofit community health center and FQHC Look-Alike, is seeking a detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, community-based care in a mission-driven setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about oral health, skilled in preventative care, and committed to creating a positive patient experience through clinical excellence and personalized attention. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing Conduct thorough oral health assessments and document findings Take and process high-quality diagnostic X-rays Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants as indicated Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care Assist the dentist during exams and procedures Support the clinical team with patient flow and care coordination Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and treatment notes Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of dental equipment Follow all infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and state regulatory protocols All other duties as assigned Qualifications: Associate's or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene from an accredited program Current Illinois Dental Hygienist license CPR/BLS certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based care environment Benefits: · Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance · Paid time off, floating holidays, and recognized holidays · 401(k) retirement plan · Life and Disability Insurance · FSA and HSA · License renewal fees covered · Malpractice insurance, including tail coverage, is fully covered by MRHC · Annual CEU (Continuing Education Unit) stipend · Tuition Reimbursement Program · Access to HRSA Loan Repayment Programs (for eligible roles) Midwest Refuah Health Center is an equal opportunity employer.
