Position : Dental Assistant Job Description : Dental Prosthodontics of Rochester is looking to hire a motivated dental assistant who is willing to learn and grow in their role. Qualified individual should be interested in improving patient’s experience in the dental office, while assisting the doctor in performing diverse prosthodontic procedures. Certification is a plus. Treatment of Patients - Welcome and seat patients - Room set up for specific dental procedures - Chair side assisting in four-hand dentistry - Maintain inventory of dental supplies B. Sterilization of Instruments - Disinfect instruments, impressions, and oral appliances - Following proper infection control in setting up and cleaning up operatories C. Radiography - Taking intra-oral full mouth x-rays, and extra-oral panoramic / CBCT radiographs D. Laboratory procedures - Pouring impression and trimming models - Fabricating custom trays, fluoride trays, athletic soft guards We are happy to provide training and education on any of the above as necessary.
