Position Summary The Dental Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting our dental providers in delivering high-quality dental care. This position involves assisting with a variety of dental procedures, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for our patients. Responsibilities Provide chair-side assistance to dentists, hygienists, and residents during dental procedures. Prepare exam rooms and ensure proper sterilization of equipment. Assist with patient record management and charting. Provide oral hygiene instructions and post-operative care. Handle emergency dental situations as needed. Operate digital X-ray equipment and process dental radiographs. Assist with laboratory procedures, including pouring and trimming study models. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor towards patients. Work Schedule: Dental Assistants are scheduled to work, Mondays & Tuesdays 11:30am – 8:30pm, Wednesdays & Thursdays 8:30am – 5:30pm, Fridays 8am – 5pm.
